We are Michaela and Nico and we love traveling. Besides our 9-to-5 jobs, we use our free time to see as much as possible of the world. Michaela plans our trips and takes care of our social media and blog with great attention to detail. Nico handles the drone, the camera, and all the organizational tasks behind the scenes. Together, we want to explore the world and share as many tips as possible for your next trip. The blog is still a work in progress, as we are still documenting some of our past travels, so be patient with us.

Destinationsea stands for real adventures, slow travel, and mindful experiences. In a world full of hustle, fast-paced trips, and fake perfection, we focus on calm and balanced travel. For us, traveling means escaping everyday life, gaining new experiences, and doing so without pressuring us to see everything. We only share what we personally experienced. Sometimes we travel with a backpack and stay in a small wooden hut, other times in a cozy, affordable bungalow trying to show that travel can be both: adventurous and enjoyable. Destinationsea is our passion project, created to share our experiences and inspire you to travel consciously and relaxed, to get the most out of your travels.
